MANAWA ORA 2 DAY WORKSHOP

the foundations of maori bodywork & healing

JOLIE DAVIS KAIMIRIMIRI

Jolie Davis (Ngati Kurī/Te Rarawa) traditionally trained kaimiri, founder, educator and lead practitioner at Manawa Ora, the largest provider of Rongoā Māori in the Wellington Region and one of the most trusted and recognised brands of Rongoā Māori in New Zealand.

Jolie has over 30 years experience in mirimiri and romiromi (Māori bodywork and healing) as well as her advocacy and work revitalising rongoā Māori as demand for holistic and culturally appropriate treatment and care grows. Jolie's goal is to normalise rongoā Māori and to ensure traditional Māori healing is sustainable and accessible to all people, especially whānau in need.

The Manawa Ora Foundations 2-day workshop shares traditional knowledge, practice and philosophy and is suitable for anyone on their own journey of self-discovery, reconnection and healing. This workshop also benefits mainstream practitioners and kaimahi by enhancing cultural understanding to better support and engage with whānau. It is now time to bring rongoā Māori out of the dark and empower people to achieve and maintain wellbeing.
