Our strength is our team! kaimirimiri (practitioners) are traditionally trained to ensure consistantly high levels of practice, safety and professional and cultural competency. Our guiding principles of practice are manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kaitiakitanga and tino rangatiratanga. Our goals at Manawa Ora are to heal whānau and communities by making mirimiri and romiromi accessible to people in need (including non-Māori), to educate, advocate for and raise awareness of rongoā Māori, to normalise rongoā Māori across the region and to build our capacity and capability in order to meet the growing demand.
